Bocce

Zone

Every day of the week, you are invited to have fun on the first floor, in our bocce zone, a cocktail in hand!

What is bocce? Pronounced “botchee”, it’s a ball sport, related to the French pétanque, developed into its present form in Italy.

How do you play bocce?

  1. Make sure to have a cocktail in non-throwing hand!
  2. Form teams of 1-4 Players and flip coin to see who starts.
  3. Starting team tosses the “Pallina” (little ball) down court. The same player tosses first ball.
  4. Teams alternate tossing bocce balls trying to get closer to the Pallina or to knock the opponents’ balls away
  5. The closest team scores points for each ball closer than the opposing team’s balls.
  6. The first team to reach 11 points wins!

Amaro

Bar

Long before there were chef-driven cocktails, there were monk-driven digestivi, also known as amaro. They made us feel better, encouraged post-prandial discourse, and set us up for a better tomorrow.

The amaro bar on our second floor, gives away a Tuscan village feel, right here in Montreal. With its nice selection of amaro’s and beautiful wine and vermouth list, La Terrazza is a perfect place for a digestive, or a nightcap.

The amaro bar, we will be showcasing some of Montreal’s finest talents. La Terrazza’s Guest Bartender evenings will welcome the city’s most influential bartenders from all over to cater to your thirst. With a special cocktail menu in collaboration with each guest, you will be able to taste the best of Montreal and Tuscany combined.
